As an iFabbo member, one of the many benefits that you will receive by being a part of our organization is access to the iFabbo SHOP. The SHOP is currently available to bloggers who are over the age of 18, live in the US and are actively blogging.
What is the SHOP?
The SHOP is a platform where beauty and fashion items can be accessed by you to experience, in exchange for a blog review (or feedback if you’ve had a truly negative experience with the product) and brand engagement. Please be very courteous in selecting products you want to experience, as we do ask in exchange for these full size products, a review on your blog and interaction with the brand via social media. If the product doesn’t fit your blog’s niche, focus, policy or is simply not right for you… we kindly ask you to leave it for other iFabbo bloggers. Please note this is a different environment since you are selecting products you want to experience, instead of brands directly pitching you.
How it works:
- In order for us to keep bringing you the most amazing, coveted products, we need your feedback and engagement. The products in the SHOP are typically full-sized products, which are extremely costly for a brand to distribute, so we ask for a blog review in return for receiving the great products you are interested in experiencing!
- Once you have received the product, please blog, Tweet, Facebook, Instagram and Pin your opinion of the product! Always use the associated hashtags and links provided with the product insert so we can track the results of the campaign.
- We understand that you have a very busy editorial calendar and dozens of products you are reviewing. For products selected from the SHOP, we kindly request that you provide a complete review within eight weeks after receiving the product. Once a review is posted on your blog, enter the URL into the “Product Reviews” tab of your SHOP profile. As a result you will earn iFabbo coins to use toward virtually purchasing other incredible products.
- As a courtesy, we send out review request reminders, approximately two weeks after you receive your product. If you feel you are not able to complete a product review within the eight week time frame, we kindly request that you leave the product for other iFabbo bloggers, as supplies are very limited.
- If we do not detect a review for the product you selected in our SHOP Platform after the eight week period and have not heard back from you, we reserve the right to remove the same amount of iFabbo coins it cost to virtually purchase the product. That means, if a product cost 300 iFabbo coins to purchase, we will remove an additional 300 iFabbo coins from your account. Remember, the SHOP is a source for you to discover new and exciting products that you might not ordinarily get your hands on, so this is not a typical review request. If you do not intend to review the products found in the SHOP, we kindly ask that you leave them for other fellow blogger members who would love to review the products.
- If we detect a review that does not contain the requested link as indicated in your product insert, we will reach out to you to ask that you use the correct link. This will enable your readers to find the products more easily, as most of the time we want to drive them to a specific product page to make it easy for discovery! If you do not communicate back to us, we reserve the right to deduct iFabbo coins you have received for review until the correction is made or you have communicated with us and let us know why you chose a particular link. It’s that easy!
I didn’t like the product? What to do next:
If you didn’t have a great experience with the product you received from the SHOP, you are not obligated to write a negative review. However, you are obligated to provide us with feedback via our Additional Comments section in the SHOP or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll credit your account with iFabbo coins just as if you completed a review. The main objective here is to provide valuable feedback to the brand so that they can improve or use the feedback internally for future product developments.
What if I don’t review any of the products?
We try very hard to provide our members with some of the best products out there. Please realize that the products in the SHOP are limited, so it’s important that the products you select are products you are truly interested in experiencing, and are relevant to your blog. If we don’t hear from you after an eight week period, we’ll check in to get an update on the status of your review. If we don’t hear back from you, we will remove your coins as explained above. If we don’t hear from you (you can contact us via email, Twitter or Facebook) on three separate campaigns, we reserve the right to remove you from the SHOP. We do this to ensure that all our members are playing fair, communicating and are not taking advantage of the SHOP.
