iFabbo New York event recap
If you weren’t there you missed a great event. Our iFabbo event in NY was filled with great speakers, great brands and lots of fun and interesting bloggers. The evening started with a mingling hour with drinks and appetizers.
The highlight of the evening were our guest speakers of the night, Dr. David Colbert, Founder of the New York Dermatology Group and Stacy Igel, Founder and Creative Director of Boy Meets Girl.
Dr. Colbert introduced his highly acclaimed skin care line that includes the Intensify Facial Discs which were given out to all the bloggers in attendance. Besides skincare, Dr. Colbert is also passionate about giving back to the community. He founded the NYDG Foundation that raises money to buy Haiti quake victims artificial limbs. He is also involved with the Up2Us foundation that uses sports as a solution for the critical challenges facing youth in America.
Fashion designer Stacy Igel introduced her brand and described how social media has played a big role in making Boy Meets Girl a huge success. Boy Meets Girl which has a huge celebrity following, has been featured in television shows such as Gossip Girl, Beverly Hills 90210 and America’s Next Top Model. Boy Meets Girl is now available online and specialty and department stores worldwide including Bergdorm Goodman and Bloomingdales. For more information on Stacy and her blog click here. Stacy has also teamed up with Bloomingdales to fight bullying in schools and has collaborated with Urban Outfitters to raise breast cancer awareness.
