- Why did you decide to start a blog? As sisters and partners, we have always worked well together on various business endeavors.
- How did you choose your blog’s title? Nubry is named after one of the most renowned shopping streets in the world: Newbury St. in Boston. We were based in Boston for many years…
- What do you like about blogging: We are able to provide unique content and interact with our loyal readers and new ones on a daily basis. It has been wonderful to meet so many interesting people as a result of blogging.
- Which blogging platform do you use? Why? WordPress. It is very customizable.
- Biggest challenge when it comes to blogging: Blogging takes 100% dedication, passion, and attention. You can’t “take off” the weekend, like in most job environments. It’s challenging to be on all blogging platforms, but if you’re not, you risk losing fans or not reaching all of your potential fans.
- Do you monetize your blog? Yes, we work with fashion and lifestyle brands on building brand awareness through creative Marketing/PR/Advertising means.
- Biggest blogging achievements? We are working on developing co-branded product lines, have been featured as top tastemakers in Boston Common Magazine, partnered with WWDMAGIC, and worked with many brands that we never dreamed of.
- Worst blogging mistake you ever made? Not knowing the power of SEO.
- What are your favorite blogs? Oliviapalermo.com, tobruckave.blogspot.com, dailymail.co.uk, Styleite.com, Nmdaily.com, cablook.blogspot.com
- What type of camera do you use? Sony NEX-5N and iPhone 4S (for on-the-go, of course)
- Something most people don’t know about you: We are not just about pretty clothes! We love the outdoors – hiking, snow skiing and tennis – we love to travel, meet new people, spend time at our home in Ohio, help out with local initiatives, and support women in business.
- Biggest talent: Dressing others in unexpected outfits
- Who is the one person you’d like to meet? Lauren Conrad

We have been in the fashion and marketing industries in various capacities from e-commerce, bricks and mortar retail, and publishing. The blog has become the face of the marketing that we do for brands. This was the logical next step for us as online media and collaboration drives the fashion industry.
